Interior Retail Signage for Playstation VR Launch in Meadowhall

Last month we had the privilege of working to ensure the successful launch of the brand new Playstation®VR. PlayStation UK’s The Future of Play tour travelled around the country promoting this new product. S&S Signs & Graphics were approached to help with printing and installation the week before the tour’s arrival at Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield.

VR (virtual reality) headsets have been heralded as the future of gaming. The launch of Sony Playstation®VR means that this technology is now available in the comfort of your own home.

To promote the launch in November, The Future of Play tour visited key locations in the UK to allow people to test out the VR headsets.

Window Graphics on a glass window for Playstation VR launchWe stepped in after Circle Agency, a London-based marketing outfit who organised the tour, contacted us a week before the Meadowhall tour dates. They chose us due to our ability to produce quality work within a short timescale.

In total, we provided three different window graphics and two large images of the VR headsets, as well as the white text applied to different windows.

We worked during the Tuesday and Wednesday night before the VR experience was open to the public to ensure that the installation was ready for the big launch in Sheffield on Thursday 6th October.  That’s why some of the photos we took might seem a bit dark – we took them in the middle of the night!

It was great to be part of the launch of a product at the cutting edge of gaming. Thanks to the tour there has been a lot of publicity for Playstation®VR across the Promotional retail sign for Playstation VR launch in Meadowhallcountry. If you are in need of window graphics or retail signage, please get in touch.
